It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, which means it's also looking a lot like 2018 is right around the corner. Most businesses take this time out to celebrate and wind down but if you run a nonprofit or are part of the process of running one, you know that there's not a lot downtime when mission needs to be complete. In fact, most nonprofit "end of the year" is on June 30th, but that doesn't mean that you can't take this time to reflect and regain momentum.
With the world that we live in today, we have access to any resources that you can think of (especially with Google as your business BFF). Often times I'm asked who or what resources to do you constantly use to help you are you grow your business. So here are my top five podcast that I find myself constantly using or going to for growth, advice and tips.
Recently, the organization I work for was asked to virtually participate in promoting an upcoming rally to for women's issues. In the promotion packet we were asked to use Thunderclap so naturally I went to research it and couldn't believe that I never heard of it before. I mean the White House uses it so you know that it's dope!

When starting, working with or being part of a nonprofit, there are many “recipes” for how you determine success. You may look at effective programming, strategic planning, fundraising and development but you can’t achieve any of that without one main ingredient and that is making sure that you have an effective nonprofit board of directors.
