What's New with The Kismet Life

So it is exactly 31 days since we celebrated the new year.  A full 31 days of walking in our 2016 purpose and bringing in the goals that we set for ourselves. I purposely (haha...get it..purpose) held off on doing a "new year-new me" post because to be honest, I really didn't know what I wanted to do with The Kismet Life in 2016 and I wanted to make sure that whatever I choose I had my supporters at the heart of it.

In 2015 I learned a lot about what my clients and supporters both respond to and want.  I've also learned about what it is I can offer to help people walk in purpose and turn their passions into profits.  Therefore in 2016 I want to introduce a some great new things that we will implement with The Kismet Life.

1. Purpose Scopes- If you are not on periscope, you are truly missing out! Periscope is a great platform to learn, connect and build your brand and business.  This year starting in February,The Kismet Life is introducing "purposescopes".

Starting February 2nd make sure to join me at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday's for "Nonprofit Tuesdays" and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday's for "Purpose Chats".  You can find me at https://www.periscope.tv/lnbinion

2. Nonprofit Tuesday- One of the things that I learned last year was my passion and skills for helping people start up organizations, particularly in the nonprofit sector.  in 2016, I've decided to  share my ten plus years of experience and knowledge  with those who are interested in the program management, funding development,  event coordination, grants and more.  So if this is up your alley definitely make sure to check me out for Nonprofit Tuesday's!

3. Webinars and Challenges- YES! I'm extremely excited for this part.  I'm going to start implementing more challenges and stepping out into the webinar world.  Last year, I launched my first Discover Your Purpose Challenge and I loved it!  The feedback that I got back was extremely instrumental in the formation of the challenges that I'm going to launch in 2016.

Also one of the most important lessons that I learned was "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime"   this is what motivates me to start doing webinars.  Having that ability to teach multitudes of people the skills needed to walk in purpose far better than me doing the work for one person.

4. Living Kismet- I love to write and I love to write about more things than just business related items.  In 2016, I want to incorporate some lifestyle aspects into the blog.  This will include interview's with people who are walking in their purpose and doing what they love. posts on what I'm doing to live a kismet life, my monthly favorites and more.

As you can read, there is a lot of new things in the making with The Kismet Life and I hope that you can continue to join me on this journey as we ignite our passions and walk in purpose.
